As a long-time fan of daytime soaps, I must say that the recent developments on The Bold and the Beautiful have me both amused and slightly skeptical. The addition of Crew Morrow to the opening credits is always welcome news, but the sudden interest of Will Spencer in fashion design seems rather contrived, to put it mildly.
It seems that Will Spencer, played by Crew Morrow, will be staying in Los Angeles for an extended period on The Bold and the Beautiful. Not only has Morrow been included in the show’s main cast, but his character has also secured a position at work.
As a gamer, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my youngest child is all set to join Forrester as an intern! If you’ve been out of the fashion firm loop lately, Katie Logan has subtly been nudging her son towards her career path. She first casually mentioned it to him, later hinted about it to the COO, Carter Walton, who offered some words of encouragement in response. And just yesterday on October 2nd’s episode, the subject came up again!
Initially, I guess my mom was just teasing me when she suggested I apply for a job at Forrester Creations. To be honest, fashion hadn’t really crossed my mind before. But then, during a casual chat with someone about my age, everything shifted. It wasn’t some practical discussion about internships or the perks of working there. Instead, it was a model who caught my attention.
In just a moment, a charming smile, a friendly word, and an appealing appearance were all it took for Will to realize that his mother’s workplace was the perfect place for him. Additionally, it was advantageous that two other young women separately engaged him and showed interest in collaborating, further confirming his decision.
In a less formal way, we could rephrase it as: The whiff of nepotism became quite noticeable when Katie approached Steffy Forrester, Forrester Creations’ Co-CEO, asking for a favor. She had discussed the internship opportunity with her son earlier without checking if there was even an available spot. Remarkably, they did have space in the program for Will due to Luna being jailed.
Katie openly discussed her son’s doubts about whether the fashion company suited him with Steffy, which Steffy then brought up during her conversation with Will directly. He expressed his desire to work at FC, but the scene ended without addressing any further questions that Steffy might have had. In reality, it wasn’t an interview, and now Will has a job without putting in any effort, as he seems more interested in interacting with his attractive colleagues than the job itself.
His position within the company prepares the ground for him to encounter Electra Forrester when she arrives in town. While Will is portrayed as a youthful man excited about meeting the sparkling fish in the sea, Electra’s arrival might make him consider one romantic interest rather than many. Laneya Grace debuts in the role on Tuesday, October 22nd.
