The new Shrine Defense game mode on Cetus offers a fresh challenge, and as someone who appreciates a good mix of strategy and combat, I’m eager to jump into the fray.

Koumei joins our game as its 58th Warframe, infusing an element of randomness and destiny into the gaming experience. Here’s a simple guide on how to acquire her for your collection.

How to get Koumei in Warframe

To retrieve Koumei, you should engage in the latest Shrine Defense game mode within Cetus. The Ostrons are under siege by Infested foes, and it’s your task to protect them. Upon arriving at Cetus, locate Saya, who is stationed next to Konzu, the bounty provider, within the village. Speak with her to initiate the quest.

For novice players, it’s advantageous to know that we’re still at an early stage in the game, meaning all you require is a way to get to Cetus on Earth. If you haven’t progressed there yet, continue playing. There’s a fresh statue in Cetus that represents Koumei, which can be viewed once you’ve encountered Saya. You’ll find it positioned slightly to the right of your initial spawn point.

Finishing Shrine Defense tasks rewards you with Fate Pearls, essential for acquiring components to construct Koumei. Head over to the Shrine and choose “Spend Fate Pearls” to utilize your pearls and purchase desired items to augment your collection.

16 Fate Pearls are yours once you complete Saya’s Visions mode. To begin, interact with the statue, choose Saya’s Vision, and confirm by hitting ‘yes’ when asked if you wish to enter the dream. During this dream, defend certain points from enemies as an offering takes shape. Once ready, bring the offering to the marked shrine (indicated by a waypoint). Repeat this process multiple times until the Infested Oni appears. You can then defeat it to finish the mission.
