At the moment, the star of Vettaiyan is in a steady condition and is being closely monitored. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to Rajinikanth’s wife Latha to check on his health status.
In a post on his social media platform, the BJP State President of Tamil Nadu shared that Prime Minister Modi had phoned Rajinikanth’s wife to check on the actor’s health status. The President also expressed hopes for a quick recovery for Thalaivar, referring to Rajinikanth.
The message stated, “Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Latha Rajinikanth today to inquire about the health of actor Rajinikanth. He was told that Rajinikanth is recovering well after surgery and the Honorable PM wished him a swift recovery.

On Tuesday, a group of physicians carried out a planned operation on Rajinikanth in a cath lab. The actor is currently stable and is expected to leave the hospital soon. According to a statement from Apollo Hospital, “Rajinikanth experienced swelling in the major artery departing his heart, which was managed with a non-surgical, transcatheter technique.” It was also mentioned that Rajinikanth will be returning home within the next two days.
