As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited because The Masked Singer season 12 has officially begun! The action started with Group A on the 25th of September, and every Wednesday since then, we’ve been treated to a fresh episode. There are plenty of big celebrity unmaskings still in store for us!
For the upcoming 12th season, there will be a new addition to the judge’s panel as Rita Ora takes over from Nicole Scherzinger for this round. Rita, alongside Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Ken Jeong, will now be tasked with unmasking the contestants.
During this season, we’ll have various themed evenings in store for you. The festivities commence on the Wednesday, October 2nd episode, which will feature a “Footloose” theme night. Other themes include Barbie, Miley Cyrus, and many more exciting options!
A new development in this context is the arrival of Disguised Representatives, individuals who were once part of the show and know people under the present costumes. It will be interesting to observe their influence during the course of The Masked Singer‘s 12th season.

The Masked Singer season 12, episode 1 reveal
Typically, the performance kicks off featuring sets of five vocalists. This time around, Group A presented Buffalo, Leaf Sheep, Ship, Showbird, and Woodpecker for our enjoyment.
It’s often unfortunate when it’s the first week because there’s not enough time for viewers to speculate and enjoy the show. Regrettably, it was Leaf Sheep that had to part ways in the debut episode.
In a twist during Leaf Sheep’s Masked Ambassador show, DeMarcus Ware, previously known as Koala in season 11, performed “It Like It, I Love It” by Tim McGraw. The panelists speculated it could be Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, or Billy Bob Thornton. However, Ken had a different guess – John Elway. To everyone’s surprise, he was indeed correct!
