Head to Ruby Slipper to try its Eras Flight before it's gone!

As a lifelong Swiftie and a resident of Louisiana, let me tell you, this Eras-Themed Cocktail Flight at Ruby Slipper is the cherry on top of my Sunday brunch! I’ve been to my fair share of Taylor Swift concerts, but now I can taste her music too? It’s like a dream come true.

In October, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is set to take place in New Orleans. Prior to this, the Ruby Slipper restaurant introduced a cocktail flight themed around her eras.

Unfortunately, it will no longer be available as of October 2nd. However, if you’re fortunate enough to be going to the Eras Tour, you’ll have a chance to get it between October 21st and October 27th. And a big thank you goes out to Taylor Swift for this opportunity!

If you live outside of New Orleans, don’t miss your chance! By October 2nd, this opportunity will be over. So, it’s high time to dress up for a delightful brunch and make your way there. The menu offers four unique Taylor Swift-themed cocktails, and I hope the photo is persuasive enough; if not, I’m at a loss as to what else might entice you.

Despite not being able to test them out myself without taking a trip, I still feel compelled to pass on some exciting discoveries to my fellow Louisiana-dwelling Taylor Swift fans, or anyone else planning a visit there who might appreciate a break from that tiny, infamous individual.

What drinks are featured in Ruby Slipper’s Eras Flight?

Before getting into the drinks, one of these flights will cost you $22.00 so if you’re looking to share or want to have a really good time, keep that in mind. The first drink is Bad Blood which is described as: “Sazerac Rye Whiskey mixed with blood orange juice, fresh lemon, hot honey syrup and pomegranate juice.” I couldn’t think of a better name for this drink than Bad Blood. With a mixture of sweet and savory, this feels like the ultimate way to start off your morning.

Next up is Fearless which is: “Tito’s vodka muddled with peach schnapps, peach puree, pineapple juice, lime juice, and cranberry juice.” I don’t know who chose the names for these drinks but they absolutely killed it. This one is a sweeter drink and something a bit more free, which works perfectly for Fearless. Then there is Fortnight: “Crafted with Pueblo Viejo 100% agave tequila, triple sec, beet orange juice, simple syrup, and lime juice.” Not only does this sound like such a unique drink but also probably would be something Post Malone would try so I give it points for that.

The final cocktail showcased in the Eras Flight is called Lavender Haze, made by muddling Miles’ gin with lavender syrup, lime, and sparkling wine. I couldn’t come up with a more fitting title or a more rejuvenating beverage to savor during brunch. Regrettably, the contest to win an Eras Tour prize pack from Ruby Slipper concluded on September 30th; however, you can still sample a piece of the Eras Tour experience with this flight.
