I, an ardent fan here, can’t help but share the latest news about my beloved icon, Rajinikanth. He was recently taken to Apollo Hospital in Chennai due to intense abdominal discomfort. The renowned Vettaiyan star has been suggested to undergo a scheduled operation today, October 1st. Fortunately, as per the recent updates from reliable source Sreedhar Pillai, our beloved Thalaivar is currently in a stable state of health.
After choosing to have the surgical treatment, Rajinikanth had a “stent” implanted close to his lower abdomen. A group of three specialist doctors performed this operation in a cath lab. At present, he’s in good condition and is under supervision. He is expected to stay at the hospital for 2-3 more days before being released.

Previously, Latha, the wife of Rajinikanth, had comforted fans by confirming that he was in good health following his hospitalization. Speaking with CNN-News 18, she simply stated, “Everything is fine.
For hours now, social media has been filled with updates about Rajinikanth’s health situation. His devoted fans have shown their worry and sent prayers for his quick recovery. However, they can now relax, as the actor’s condition has stabilized following a successful operation at the cath lab.
In 2020, Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital due to fluctuations in his blood pressure stemming from fatigue and hypertension. The doctors later released him, advising a week of rest. Thalaivar underwent COVID-19 testing that same year. Although the results were negative, he opted for self-isolation.
2016 saw the Vettaiyan actor receiving a kidney transplant, and more recently, in 2021, medical advice recommended that he undergo a carotid artery revascularization treatment at a private healthcare center in Chennai.
Regarding his professional activities, Rajinikanth is preparing for the unveiling of the trailer for the movie Vettaiyan on October 2. Subsequently, the movie will be released in cinemas on October 10. Besides Rajinikanth, the film’s cast includes Manju Warrier, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and others.
