The movie “Meiyazhagan,” featuring Karthi and Arvind Swami, has been touching many hearts and receiving widespread acclaim. Notably, it’s also known as “Sathyam Sundaram” in Telugu. This captivating drama is masterfully directed by the renowned duo Suriya and Jyothika. Lately, the film, particularly Karthi’s performance, has garnered a significant endorsement from superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni.
In a heartfelt post shared on his account (previously Twitter), Nagarjuna Akkineni expressed his thoughts after watching the movie Sathyam Sundaram. He specifically praised Karthi and Arvind Swami for delivering exceptional performances that kept him smiling consistently during the viewing.
In addition, the Yuva Samrat shared that as he watched it, he wasn’t just reminded of his childhood, but also of the period when he collaborated with Karthi on the 2016 movie, Oopiri.
Nagarjuna expressed, “Dear brother Karthi, I saw your film #SatyamSundaram last night!! In a chat with YouWe Media, actor Karthi shared his experience when he took on the lead role in Meiyazhagan, revealing how his brother and film producer, Suriya, responded to this decision.
Karthi disclosed that the actor from Kanguva took great delight in the process of making the film and played an active role throughout its entire creation, starting with reading the script and ending with viewing the movie on the big screen.
The actor reminisced, ‘Suriya was overjoyed with the movie’s final result. He inquired about where I get these scripts, and he even phoned the director to discuss the film after viewing it.’
For those unfamiliar, the movie titled Meiyazhagan was premiered in cinemas on September 27, 2024. This film is helmed by director Prem Kumar. The production of this film is under the banner of 2D Media, which belongs to the acting couple Suriya and Jyothika.
