In the film “Devara,” I had the privilege to follow Jr NTR, where I stepped into my Telugu cinematic debut, portraying the character Thangam, who became the leading love interest of this talented actor, Janhvi Kapoor.
In this two-part film sequence, the actor from RRR takes on a unique double role as both father (Devara) and son (Vara). The story primarily centers on a group of skilled smugglers hailing from four coastal villages, who play significant roles in the plot.
In a particular circumstance, it falls upon Devara to confront them, which sparks disputes and simmering disagreements among them. The remainder of the film revolves around how Devara achieves legendary status while his son evolves into a shy individual, markedly different from him.
The remainder of the film unfolds, detailing events in Vara’s life as his father remains a city myth, causing dread among all while others seek to track him down. Apart from Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, the movie also features Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and several other prominent actors in significant roles.
In the future, Jr NTR will make his Bollywood debut in the movie “War 2,” where he’ll team up with Hrithik Roshan. This upcoming project helmed by Ayan Mukerji is poised to introduce Jr NTR into the Yash Raj Films spy world, as he takes on the primary villain role in the film.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that Jr NTR will be collaborating with the director of Salaar, Prashant Neel, on his upcoming film, which is currently known as NTRNEEL.
