Based on his brief biography posted on Airboat Tours by Arthur’s official website, he had previously been employed at a chemical plant, working every day of the week, while also going shrimping during his time off. However, his family persuaded him to switch careers and obtain a captain’s license to operate tours instead. Since at least 2015, he has been working as an airboat captain for this family-owned business.
His biography mentions that he enjoys connecting with both wildlife and clients, including several celebrities other than Lana Del Rey. Photos from his Instagram, which The Daily Mail unveiled since it was set to private at the time of writing, depict him serving as a tour guide for Emma Roberts, Kate Hudson, Glen Powell, among others. Additionally, these pictures display Dufrene fearlessly approaching alligators during his tours, occasionally feeding them raw chicken.
