As a gamer with a heart for Disney movies, I must say that the announcement of Moana 2 has sent my excitement levels soaring! The original was a masterpiece, and the prospect of revisiting the enchanting world of Oceania with Moana and Maui is simply too enticing to resist. I remember watching the first movie on a rainy day, engrossed in the story, feeling as if I was sailing the vast Pacific Ocean myself!


A new Moana 2 TV spot and poster are out, the former of which is previewing an upcoming song from the highly anticipated Disney sequel.

What’s the new Moana 2 song?

In the upcoming sequel tune called “We’re Back,” it appears that the story revolves around Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) making her way back home after a journey. A sneak peek of this song can be caught in a recent TV advertisement, along with some fresh scenes from the movie and quick glimpses of Dwayne Johnson reprising his role as Maui.

In the official summary of Moana 2, we find that Moana and Maui will embark on a fresh voyage three years later. They’ll be sailing with a motley crew of unexpected sailors. The storyline unfolds when Moana receives an unforeseen message from her navigational ancestors, prompting her to venture into the distant waters of Oceania, braving dangerous and forgotten seas for an adventure that surpasses any she has experienced before.
