RJ has a new rival on Bold and the Beautiful and he's got some bite to his words

As a seasoned gamer who’s been navigating the tumultuous waters of daytime soap operas for decades now, I must say that The Bold and the Beautiful has always had a knack for keeping us on our toes. With the departure of Luna and the impending arrival of Electra Forrester, it seems like the writers are setting the stage for some fresh blood in the Forrester household – and by the looks of things, that newcomer is none other than Will.

The soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” continues to shape its newer characters. With Luna no longer around, and Electra Forrester arriving soon, it’s an opportune moment to lay the groundwork for who could potentially challenge RJ both in business and romance.

The authors had been considering the idea of Zende as a potential rival for him, yet they felt the narrative between them was unbalanced. Though both are Forrester heirs, Zende wasn’t misguided to feel that Ridge’s children received special treatment. It may not be solely because RJ is Brooke Logan’s son, but it’s evident that he’s being prepared for a role similar to his father’s.

Given that there appears to be little enthusiasm in making Zende a compelling adversary for RJ, a decision I find acceptable as the writers should focus on deepening the older Forrester’s character and portraying him as the mature man he is, it seems appropriate to introduce a new contender. It appears this individual has already been selected.

On Thursday, September 26th, an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, marked the first encounter between cousins RJ and Will. To put it mildly, they weren’t exactly thrilled to cross paths. As Will was hurriedly wrapping up a phone call with Aunt Donna who was attempting to fix him up with an unspecified young woman, RJ made his entrance. Needless to say, the greeting wasn’t overly friendly.

As their conversation progressed, it grew increasingly evident that they held a mutual dislike for each other. Will appeared arrogant and superior as he attempted to criticize RJ for not realizing that Luna posed a risk. However, RJ pointed out that Bill had also been deceived in the same manner, an observation which Will conceded.

When the discussion shifted towards Will possibly joining Forrester, RJ’s comment about him likely not being allowed to work anywhere but Spencer Publications didn’t sit well with him. Will made it clear that he would be the one to decide on his future job opportunities when the time arrives. He subtly hinted at finding amusement in the suggestion that working at the fashion company might annoy his cousin.

Initially, Zende was seen as accusing RJ of being entitled. In a similar manner, it is evident that Will possesses this same trait. He seems to carry an air of entitlement, and as he interacts more with his peers, this characteristic will likely become even more noticeable. However, the question remains whether he has the skills to match his confidence, or if he’ll stumble when faced with challenges. This aspect will be intriguing, regardless of where he ends up, whether it’s at Forrester or Spencer.
