As a seasoned gamer and survival enthusiast, I must admit that the Elevation trailer has piqued my interest. The post-apocalyptic setting, the mysterious creatures, and the desperate fight for survival all resonate with the countless hours I’ve spent battling against odds in various video games.
The first Elevation trailer is out, previewing the upcoming apocalyptic action thriller that sees Anthony Mackie and Morena Baccarin fighting to stay away from seemingly alien creatures.
What happens in the Elevation trailer?
The brief preview doesn’t reveal much detail, yet presents Mackie, Baccarin, and Maddie Hasson’s characters embarking on a journey from their home in search of essential supplies for an ill child. Along the way, they encounter an area dominated by creatures that appear to be extraterrestrial. To survive, they must not only avoid these beings but also manage to return safely.

In the upcoming years, Mackie is poised for a significant career expansion. Following his role in “Elevation”, he will make his solo debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with “Captain America: Brave New World” scheduled for release in 2025. Additionally, he will voice a character in the sci-fi adventure film “The Electric State”, directed by the Russo brothers, also due out in 2025.
George Nolfi (known for “The Adjustment Bureau”) is the director of the movie titled “Elevation”. The script for this film was penned by John Glenn, Kenny Ryan, and Jacob Roman. Notably, “Elevation” brings Mackie and Nolfi together again, as Mackie had previously acted in the 2011 sci-fi thriller “The Adjustment Bureau”. Alongside Mackie, Elevation features the talents of Baccarin, Hasson, Tony Goldwyn, and Danny Boyd Jr.
The movie titled “Elevation” is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on November 8, 2024. According to its plot summary, this post-apocalyptic tale unfolds amidst the Rocky Mountains where a father and two women embark on a perilous journey from their safe dwellings to confront fearsome beasts in an attempt to rescue a young boy.
