As a long-time fan of Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of “Shrinking” Season 2! With a stellar cast, hilarious dialogue, and a unique blend of humor and heart, this show has always been a must-watch for me.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming Season 2 trailers promise the comeback of Jason Segel and the legendary Harrison Ford! This time around, we find ourselves diving back into the world of laughter, as the duo continues their hilarious journey from where their characters were last seen.
The upcoming season consists of 12 episodes. It will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, October 16. Shrinking Season 2 will then release one new episode weekly each Wednesday until December 25.

What happens in the Shrinking Season 2 trailer?
The trailer initiates by presenting several key characters from the humorous series, such as Segel portraying Jimmy Laird and Ford as Dr. Paul Rhoades. They are both therapists; however, Jimmy often adopts an overzealous and unconventional strategy with his clients. In the first season’s finale of Shrinking, we witnessed the repercussions of this method when Grace (Heidi Gardner) shoved her abuser off a cliff.
In the second season’s trailer for The Shrinking, we find Grace continuing her battle within prison walls. Jimmy, who is yet to fully recover from his wife’s passing, is grappling with his grief and the challenge of concealing his true feelings from his daughter. Meanwhile, Paul is still working on opening up emotionally, and Wendie Malick, a two-time Emmy nominee, reappears as a possible romantic interest in the upcoming episodes.
The trailer showcases familiar faces like Emmy Award-nominated actors Christa Miller and Jessica Williams, along with Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. It concludes with Jimmy cracking a witty remark about Paul’s resemblance to Batman in terms of sound and speech, which is humorously acknowledged by Segel and Ford.
I’m excited to share that I’m part of the second season of Shrinking, a show created by Emmy-winning trio Bill Lawrence, Segel, and Brett Goldstein. They’ve even got two episodes lined up for me! This series is streaming exclusively on Apple TV+, brought to you by Warner Bros. Television, with both Lawrence and Goldstein having overall deals there. The production house behind it all is none other than Lawrence’s Doozer Productions.
It’s also worth noting that Shrinking is the third collaboration between Lawrence, Warner Bros. TV, and Apple TV+. It comes after the massive success of Ted Lasso and the Vince Vaughn comedy Bad Monkey, which has also generated buzz.
