At the start of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, our main character finds herself imprisoned. What a shame! But with our newly acquired ability to generate echoes, freedom lies almost within reach.
How to escape jail and get past the guards – The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
As we embark on this thrilling journey, remember that the initial time a guard nabs you, they’ll return you to your cell. But fear not, subsequent encounters with guards will only set you back to the beginning of the current segment, so don’t stress if you slip up now and then!
Initially, we encounter a solitary guard standing watch by some crates, observing our path ahead. Fortunately, we can stealthily circumvent him. Arrange three tables in a corner, with two stacked and another beside it. This setup will serve as makeshift steps, enabling us to ascend behind the guard, and subsequently move stealthily across.
Next, two guards will be patrolling a route near some storage units and containers. Ensure you obtain the “Box Echo”, although it isn’t necessary in this location. By allowing one guard to pass, slip in behind him and maintain a discreet distance. This will enable you to complete the entire circuit undetected by the other guard. When an opportunity arises, dash to the left. If timing proves challenging, block off the lower section with boxes to prevent the second guard from tracking you.
Slip by two guards engaged in conversation about shattering pots, and ascend the ladder nearby. Stealthily approach the guards and snatch the Pot Echo, followed by a leap down to the ground level. Lift a pot and hurl it high up into the screen, then traverse along the base after the guard has been diverted.
To outsmart the final guard, try a strategy similar to before. Create a jar that mimics an echo, and toss it near the lower part of the screen to divert his attention. While he’s preoccupied, sneak along the top edge to finish this stealthy segment and successfully flee from the prison.
