Oh boy, do I remember the thrill of discovering hidden treasures in the vast world of Hyrule! The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom took me back to those nostalgic days as a young Link wannabe. And let me tell you, nothing quite compares to the excitement of finding Zelda’s very own sword!
In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda doesn’t necessarily wield the Master Sword, but she can acquire her very own sword instead. This enigmatic blade is dropped by a character you recognize, hidden within one of the early dungeons in the game. To find it, search for the Suthorn Ruins, a location nestled in the southern region of Hyrule.
How to get the sword
In the game ‘Echoes of Wisdom’, you’ll acquire a sword upon successfully defeating ‘Link Echo’ located within the Suthorn Ruins on level 2F. This is the initial dungeon you can conquer, however, it requires some exertion to access it.
To get to Suthorn Village, travel south in Hyrule until you reach it. After chatting with Impa, you’ll have a waypoint to guide you there. Once you arrive, head towards the northeastern corner to discover the entrance to Stilled Suthorn Forest. Continue your journey through this area and you’ll eventually find the entrance to Suthorn Ruins in the northern region, which is located within the forest.
As a fearless adventurer, my objective is to conquer the labyrinth, pushing forward to floor 2 and the map’s peak. When I arrive at the designated chamber, I must engage in combat with Link Echo. After his defeat, I’ll be rewarded with the enigmatic blade known as the Mysterious Sword.
As a gamer now wielding Zelda’s trusty blade, it’s time to switch up the battle strategies! Forget the magic wand, it’s swordplay all the way from here on out.
