ShackStream: The Stevetendo Show! Episode 503

As a seasoned gamer and long-time fan of the Legend of Zelda series, I can confidently say that Ghirahim from Skyward Sword is my least favorite “big boss” in the entire franchise. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a well-designed character with an intriguing backstory, but his fight mechanics just never clicked for me.

This evening on the Stevetendo Show, we’re diving back into our Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword adventure. Last time on Skyward Sword, we descended to the surface world and delved into Faron Woods. It was within Faron Woods that we discovered our first dungeon and crossed paths with Ghirahim, the Demon Lord. In my view, Ghirahim is the most frustrating “final boss” in the Legend of Zelda series by a considerable margin. Tonight, we’ll be returning to Skyloft and venturing back down to the surface again.

Today’s adventure takes us to the fiery Eldin Volcano and Earth Temple. Upon returning to Skyloft, there are a few tasks like purchasing Beedle’s bug net since we now have a slingshot. Tune in at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET for more of our exciting Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword gameplay on the Stevetendo Show!

In this week’s broadcast, we continue our Limbo playthrough and delve deeper into Dragon Quest XI. As we seem to be approaching the conclusion of our Limbo journey, I must admit that I’ve truly enjoyed the game. With Halloween just around the corner, I could use some more recommendations for games similar to Limbo that have a spooky vibe!
