'It will be like Fall Guys, sort of' — Early details paint bizarre picture of new Assassin's Creed's multiplayer game "Invictus"

As a gamer who has spent countless hours navigating the intricate worlds of Assassin’s Creed, I must admit, the idea of Assassin’s Creed Invictus is both exhilarating and perplexing. The franchise has always been about stealth, strategy, and immersive storytelling, so the concept of a round-based elimination game feels like a stark departure.

The Assassin’s Creed series seems overdue for a transformation, and merely alternating between vast open-world settings such as Valhalla and conventional games like Mirage isn’t sufficient. There’s hope that the upcoming multiplayer Assassin’s Creed game, Invictus, could be the solution.

New details recently emerged about Invictus and frankly, we don’t know what to think…

In our new game, the maps will feature familiar locales drawn from previous Assassin’s Creed titles. For instance, there’s Baghdad (seen in Mirage), Japan (from the upcoming Shadows), and a location akin to the islands found in Black Flag.

If the rumors are even partially accurate, it seems the Assassin’s Creed series is venturing into uncharted territory. At the very least, we’re willing to remain receptive to AC Invictus; after all, its premise is quite intriguing.

What do you think? Would you like to play a Fall Guys type game in the world of Assassin’s Creed?
