As we progressed, the conversation during the interview included a playful exchange between me, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt about who came up with the title of our movie first. We ultimately couldn’t decide, but Devara was probably the one who named it first. What amused me was how our films seemed to have similar sounds when we pronounced them.

In a new take: The movie titled Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt as the main character, is an exciting and suspenseful film directed by Vasan Bala, who jointly wrote it with Debashish Irengbam. This production narrates the story of Satya, a young woman who faced a challenging upbringing, with her brother being her sole family member left.

Currently, her brother is jailed and being tormented in a foreign detention center. With no other options left, Satya must act swiftly to free her sibling by orchestrating a jailbreak. The film, featuring an impressive lineup of actors such as Vedang Raina, Aditya Nanda, Manoj Pahwa, Rahul Ravindran and others in significant roles, is set to premiere in theaters on October 11, 2024.
