Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas Producer Gives Discouraging Release Date Update

As a devoted fan who has been following this franchise since its inception, I can’t help but feel like a survivor trapped in a zombie-infested Las Vegas, waiting for rescue that seems to never come with the latest update on Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas. The anticipation and excitement that once pulsed through my veins when we were promised a post-movie release have now turned into an anxious, restless longing.

Despite “Army of the Dead” hitting screens in 2021, there’s been scant news about its animated series spin-off, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas. Originally planned to debut following the initial two films in the series, production on Lost Vegas has stalled for quite some time now, leaving fans anxious about its future. In a recent conversation, producer Deborah Snyder has shared a potentially worrying update regarding the release date of “Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas”.

Deborah Snyder gives update on whether Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas is happening

According to Snyder, there are no known plans as of now for the upcoming prequel series’ release.

In a private chat with Tyler Treese, Editor-in-Chief of ComingSoon, Deborah Snyder shared some disappointing news about Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas. During their discussion on Twilight of the Gods, she was asked for an update on the sequel. However, Snyder seemed very uncertain about its prospects due to reasons that led to its indefinite delay.

Snyder stated, “We faced issues initially with a partner company, which caused delays. Subsequently, we focused all our energy on this project while resolving these complications. As such, I’m uncertain about the future steps, if any, to progress that collaboration,” she concluded.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that Zack Snyder has given us an exciting update about his upcoming animated project, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas! In a recent interview, he revealed that we are almost there – most of the principal work has been completed! He went on to mention that the show is already in a watchable state, though updates are still coming. According to GamesRadar+, Snyder shared that all the scripts and animatics have been done, and every voiceover has been recorded. So, even in its current rough form, you can watch the entire run of the series!

As I’m typing this, it remains uncertain if Lost Vegas will have an official release date in the future. However, fans can enjoy Twilight of the Gods on Netflix in the meantime. This animated series is under the executive production of Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller, and Jay Oliva.
