As we approach the close of September, the chilling atmosphere of autumn is starting to ramp up. However, Netflix hasn’t added too many horror or thriller titles as of now. This week, they’ve introduced a fresh drama series, a humor-filled comedy series, and an engaging new documentary.
Kicking off the week on September 24, 2024, we have “Penelope”! This gripping new drama premieres on Netflix and tells the story of a young girl who abandons her contemporary lifestyle after being drawn into the untamed wilderness, where she embarks on a new journey. This coming-of-age tale set in the wilderness is brought to us by Mark Duplass and features Megan Stott, Austin Abrams, and Cynthia Geary in leading roles.

This week, the comedy series “Nobody Wants This,” featuring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, will be available on Netflix starting September 26th. The show revolves around an unconventional rabbi and a sex podcaster who is agnostic, their unlikely relationship unfolding in the storyline.
