On most days, she urges him to keep his temper in check, but allows for one exception. However, things escalate dramatically when his mother dies on a Saturday, which Surya sees as an approval for him to vent his frustration on that particular day.

Consequently, he leads a peaceful existence from Sunday to Friday, channeling his anger solely on Saturdays. Over time, this practice encounters a fresh adversary in the form of a police officer named Dayanand. The ensuing film then explores their confrontation and the repercussions for Surya.
