Apart from Netflix, numerous fresh series are making their way onto your television screens, as the major networks unveil their fall lineups, and other streaming platforms joining in with shows such as “Agatha All Along,” “The Penguin,” and “Frasier.
This coming weekend, Netflix has a lineup of three highly anticipated new arrivals set to climb the charts of most-watched shows. Among them is “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” which debuted on September 19th, offering a fresh take on the intriguing story behind the Menendez brothers’ murder of their parents. Additionally, Netflix introduced Zack Snyder’s animated series titled “Twilight of the Gods” and the emotional film “His Three Daughters“.

In fact, a significant portion of the series focuses on the Menendez brothers’ trial.
But nevertheless, it’s another riveting collection of television from the prolific producer. The acting from series leads Nicholas Chavez and Cooper Koch is nothing short of superb and Emmy-worthy. They, along with Ari Graynor as Leslie Abramson, will have you feeling and hanging on every word. Skip if true crime isn’t your thing, but otherwise, this one’s a must-watch!
Twilight of the Gods
Feel free to give Zack Snyder’s “Twilight of the Gods” a miss if you’re not particularly interested in Norse mythology or animated series. However, if you’ve been eagerly anticipating this new series, then go ahead and enjoy all eight episodes over the weekend!

It’s quite rare to see three outstanding actresses from Hollywood share the screen in a single movie, but that’s what Netflix is offering us with “His Three Daughters” on September 20th. In this film, Carrie Coon, Elizabeth Olsen, and Natasha Lyonne portray estranged sisters reuniting to care for their ailing father. During their journey, they also confront their personal issues.
His Three Daughters honestly sounds like a punch to the gut and a movie that will make you cry. Some viewers love sad movies and some don’t, so proceed accordingly. I’m in the camp of not loving sad movies, but my affinity for talented actresses acting well overrides any disinterest in tears over laughter. For a good, cathartic journey, join me in watching the new movie this weekend!
