As a dedicated follower of Tamil cinema, I find myself deeply invested not just in the films, but also in the personal lives of my favorite stars. The recent developments between Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth have left me both surprised and hopeful.

After 18 years of marriage, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth parted ways in 2022, leaving their followers disheartened and many others stunned. Since then, they’ve been living separately. However, recent speculations suggest a possible reunion, as hints of reconciliation have surfaced between the former couple.

It started with some speculation after Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth posted a picture on her Instagram, marking Onam. In the image, she’s seen relishing a traditional meal served on a banana leaf, sitting casually on the floor and celebrating the festival in a subtle way.

Yet, what stood out was discovering that it was none but Dhanush who liked her recent post. Although this could just be a random occurrence, it fueled speculation among fans, leading them to hope that a reunion between the ex-pair might be possible.

Back in March 2024, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth publicly acknowledged her ex-husband Dhanush for the first time since their divorce, during an interview with media outlets. As a filmmaker, she praised music composer Anirudh Ravichander’s career within South cinema and specifically thanked Dhanush for providing significant support to him.

She mentioned, “I’m delighted that he’s now a highly respected music director in the industry. Yet, his career in films has no bearing on my life. He is my cousin, but it was Dhanush who discovered and appreciated his musical abilities, leading him to compose songs for 3. His entry into cinema was entirely due to Dhanush’s influence.

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to clarify that for those not in the know, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are fortunate parents to two lovely boys named Yatra and Linga. Following their separation, it fell upon Aishwaryaa to take on the primary responsibilities of raising their sons.

Over time, the former couple has carefully arranged a fair and well-balanced visitation plan so that their sons can equally enjoy time with both parents. Nevertheless, it’s mainly the maternal grandfather and renowned actor Rajinikanth who are the boys’ primary caregivers.

Regarding his professional endeavors, Dhanush is looking forward to the release of his upcoming movie, Kubera. Furthermore, he has added another project to his schedule – a new film, titled “Idly Kadai,” which will be his 52nd production.
