Who is in the Lioness Season 2 trailer?

The video offers a sneak peek at Zoe Saldaña reprising her role as Joe, along with Nicole Kidman returning as Kaitlyn. Furthermore, it showcases Oscar winner Morgan Freeman in the part of U.S. Secretary of State Edwin Mullins and Emmy nominee Michael Kelly portraying CIA Deputy Director Byron Westfield. The ensemble also includes Laysla De Oliveira as Sergeant Cruz Manuelos, Dave Annable playing both Bobby and Neil, Jill Wagner taking on the role of Bobby, LaMonica Garrett as Tucker, James Jordan as Two Cups, and others.

In my perspective as an enthusiast, the synopsis goes like this: “As terror threats seem to encroach on our very doorstep, Joe, Kaitlyn, and Byron bring a fresh Lioness operative aboard to tackle an uncharted danger.” Under increasing scrutiny from every angle, Joe finds himself compelled to face head-on the deep personal compromises she’s made, being at the helm of the Lioness operation.

In a creative collaboration, the popular series Lioness is spearheaded by Sheridan, who has previously collaborated with Paramount+ on various shows like Mayor of Kingstown, 1923, and the upcoming Landman. Interestingly, both Saldaña and Kidman are not only part of the main cast but also serve as executive producers along with Wagner, Glasser, Burkle, Yari, Hutkin, Lemanowicz, Kosinski, Friedman, and Cox for this production.
