A new trailer for A24’s Heretic has been released.
The horror movie “Heretic,” produced by A24, is penned and helmed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. In it, Hugh Grant portrays an antagonist. This chilling flick is set to hit U.S. theaters this coming November.

What is Heretic about?
Two young missionaries find themselves tested when they accidentally visit the home of a mischievous and dangerous man, Mr. Reed, portrayed by Hugh Grant. They soon find themselves caught up in a lethal game of hide-and-seek with him.
The movie also stars Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets), Chloe East (The Fabelmans), and Topher Grace (That ’70s Show).
The film “Heretic” debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival recently and garnered favorable feedback from critics. Many applauded Grant’s acting prowess in their reviews.
Previously, Beck and Woods have made films such as Nightlight (2015), Haunt (2019), and 65 (2023). They also co-wrote A Quiet Place in 2018 and The Boogeyman in 2023. In addition, they are working on a project called Heretic, which is being produced alongside Stacey Sher, Julia Glausi, and Jeanette Volturno.
Heretic will be released in United States theaters on November 15, 2024, from A24.
