This will enable fans to grasp Agatha’s complex motivations and the linked occurrences that resulted in her transformation.

Before delving into “Agatha All Along,” here’s a list of Marvel movies and series that you might find enjoyable as a warm-up. Let this guide serve as a tasty appetizer for the Marvel universe!

All Marvel movies and TV shows you should watch before Agatha All Along

As a hardcore Marvel gamer, I’ve found myself immersed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), where each tale weaves into the grander narrative. Before diving into ‘Agatha All Along’, it’s beneficial to catch up on some other MCU projects. These prequels and side stories not only set the scene but also enrich the viewing experience, making every adventure even more captivating!

In the series “WandaVision”, it’s in Episode 7 when Agatha Harkness is unveiled as a powerful adversary. She’s cunning and power-hungry, aiming to take advantage of Wanda’s tremendous magical abilities. Unlike how she’s often portrayed in comics as a mentor figure, Agatha shows a malicious intent here, orchestrating events to undermine Wanda’s grip on Westview. Her distinctive skill of absorbing magic and her ownership of the Darkhold, an artifact that’s both potent and hazardous, underscore her formidable strength. In the end, Wanda manages to subdue Agatha, imprisoning her within Westview and depriving her of her magical powers.

In the aftermath of WandaVision, the Scarlet Witch is found delving into the mysteries of the Darkhold, where she starts hearing her boys’ voices from a different reality. The movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, released in 2022, unfolds immediately following these incidents, detailing Wanda’s transformation under the influence of the Darkhold, leading to her ruthless pursuit of reuniting with her sons from another dimension, no matter the price.

The movie ends with Wanda acknowledging the repercussions of her decisions and seeing her sons’ dread. In the end, she chooses to demolish Mount Wundagore, eliminating every version of the book and appearing to give up her life. Although it’s not completely necessary, watching Infinity War and Endgame offers helpful background for Agatha All Along.

Watching all the movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe offers viewers an in-depth insight into the life story and transformation of the Scarlet Witch.

Starting on September 18, 2024, the brand new nine-episode series “Agatha All Along” made its debut on our screens, and lucky for us, two of those episodes are already available on Disney Plus! Each week thereafter, a fresh episode will be added every Wednesday. Enjoy the magic!
