‘Wouldn’t have had the political suffering’: Poonam Kaur speaks against director Trivikram Srinivas amid Jani Master controversy

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for the dynamics of the film industry, I find myself deeply troubled by the recurring instances of alleged misconduct that have come to light. The recent controversy surrounding choreographer Jani Master and actress Poonam Kaur’s long-standing allegations against director Trivikram Srinivas are stark reminders of the pervasive issue of sexual harassment in our industry.

As a connoisseur of lifestyle and well-being, I find myself once more expressing my sentiments through my social media platform, appealing to the Movie Artists Association (MAA) to give due attention to my concerns regarding director Trivikram Srinivas. Previously, I have voiced my discontent against this director, but unfortunately, my grievances have yet to receive the consideration they deserve from the authorities.

After the latest uproar about choreographer Jani Master, which has been widely discussed, Poonam has again brought up her accusations, asking for them to be properly addressed. The fallout from this controversy has sparked conversations once more about sexual harassment within the film industry, drawing in the public on this important topic.

Talking to her X (formerly Twitter) handle, the actress said, “Had maa association taken complaint on Trivikram Srinivas, I and many wouldn’t have had the political suffering, I was rather silently ignored, I had given a call and then complaint to the heads, I want industry big wigs to question Director Trivikram.”

Due to the recent uproar concerning Jani Master, the actress felt compelled to speak out about the issue once more. For those who may not be aware, Jani Master was recently arrested following a 21-year-old female choreographer’s accusation that he sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions during film shoots in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

The person making the complaint alleges that the choreographer exploited her on several occasions and further stated that his wife was aware of these actions. Additionally, the 21-year-old dancer disclosed that the individual in question pressured her to marry him by visiting her home, and even went so far as to physically attack her.

According to recent news, the choreographer is currently facing multiple accusations. Among them are criminal intimidation (under section 506), rape (section 376), and causing hurt voluntarily (section 323). Additionally, a complaint has been filed under the POSH Act against Jani Master as well.
