As a seasoned gamer and horror movie aficionado who has braved countless virtual nightmares, I can confidently say that the early reactions to Never Let Go have piqued my interest like never before. Having grown up on classics such as The Exorcist and Alien, this psychological thriller/horror seems to be a promising addition to my horror hall of fame.

Initial responses to “Never Let Go” have praised this horror film helmed by Alexandre Aja, who previously directed Crawl, as “exceptional,” “grim,” “unsettling,” and other laudatory terms.

On September 20, 2024, the film “Never Let Go” will make its way to U.S. cinemas, distributed by Lionsgate. In addition to Berry, this movie features Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins as its main stars.

In this fresh psychological thriller/horror film, a sinister force overpowers the world, leaving only their home and their strong familial bond as sanctuary for a mother, portrayed by Academy Award winner Halle Berry (Monster’s Ball, 2001), and her twin sons. To remain united at all costs, they bind themselves together with ropes, relying on each other for support.
