According to TVLine, Leung will be accompanied by Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei in the upcoming season. Additionally, some Bridgerton guest stars who previously recurred have been promoted to main cast members for Season 4.
Who will Katie Leung play in Bridgerton Season 4?
Leung assumes the character of Araminta Gun, a twice-married, twice-widowed woman feeling societal pressure to find suitable husbands for her daughters this season. She’s not exactly friendly towards those who might challenge her social status. This could potentially create difficulties for Yerin Ha’s character, Sophie.
Mao is set to portray Rosamund Li, the eldest child of Araminta, who happens to be keen on courting Benedict Bridgerton during this season. She’s determined to secure him, as it’s a goal that both pleases her mother and aligns with Araminta’s wishes.
Additionally, we have Wei Li’s daughter, Posy, who is younger than Araminta. Posy tends to be quite talkative and overly friendly, often leading to awkward situations. This has prompted her mother to keep her out of the limelight. However, could it be Posy who finds love in the end?
Who is promoted to series regular for Bridgerton Season 4?
For the upcoming season, Emma Naomi and Hugh Sachs have been upgraded to main cast members. They portray characters named Alice Mondrich and Brimsley.
We also have confirmation that Ha will definitely take on the role of Sophie, who ends up becoming the woman that makes Benedict want to settle down. It’s a Cinderella style storyline, and yes, Araminta is part of that storyline. She is Sophie’s stepmother.
It’s anticipated that Bridgerton Season 4 won’t be released until 2026 on Netflix, but they’ve already begun filming for the new season.
