Netflix is adding 21 new movies and shows this week (Sept. 15, 2024)

As a long-time Netflix enthusiast and true crime junkie, I must say that this week‘s lineup has me absolutely thrilled! The arrival of “Monsters” on Thursday, Sept. 19, promises to be a gripping tale, given my fascination with the Menendez brothers’ case. Ryan Murphy never disappoints when it comes to true crime dramas, and I can’t wait to see how he tackles this complex story.

This week welcomes fresh content to Netflix, featuring a fresh Ryan Murphy true-crime drama, an exciting new animated series, and a newly released movie.

Kicking off this week is the series titled “Monsters“, which will be available on Netflix starting Thursday, September 19, 2024. This represents Ryan Murphy’s latest true crime installment. The focus of this edition is the Menendez brothers, who find themselves on trial after their parents were viciously murdered.

Describing the situation as “complicated” is actually quite modest. In this series, we find Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez portraying a pair of siblings.

Following that, you’ll find “Zach Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods” on your screen. It debuts on Netflix on Thursday, September 19th. This animated series is rooted in Norse mythology and follows a warrior with a score to settle against the omnipotent deities. The show boasts the vocal talents of Jessica Henwick, Stuart Martin, Lauren Cohan, Jamie Chung, and Peter Stormare.
