Reality Winner Joins the Air Force in Exclusive Winner Clip

As a long-time follower of real-life heroines who’ve made a difference amidst adversity, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming biopic, “Reality Winner.” The trailer alone has me hooked, and Emilia Jones’ portrayal of this courageous whistleblower promises to be nothing short of exceptional.

Anticipation builds as ComingSoon prepares to unveil an unique sneak peek of a comedy biopic featuring Emilia Jones portraying Reality Winner. The film, helmed by director Susanna Fogel, will be distributed by Vertical and will hit select theaters and streaming platforms on September 13, 2024.

Title character Reality Winner, portrayed by Emilia Jones, is a bright yet unconventional young woman from a Texas border town with an affinity for her pink firearm and a strong desire to aid others. Driven by her curiosity, she self-taught Arabic in high school with the goal of assisting in the Middle East. However, her ideals clash with the Air Force’s values when she enlists but soon finds herself working as an NSA contractor instead. During this tenure, she discovers sensitive government information about Russia’s election interference during the 2016 Presidential race. She must choose between revealing the truth or maintaining secrecy. Ultimately, she elects to disclose the information, leading to her trial and a landmark espionage conviction. The film features notable performances by Connie Britton, Danny Ramirez, Kathryn Newton, and Zach Galifianakis.
