Born Joseph George, Joju George is a native of Kerala. He finished his education in Kuzhur and earned his degree from Irinjalakuda. In 1995, he launched his career in the film industry as an extra for the movie Mazhavilkoodaram. Afterward, he worked as an assistant director and started appearing in supporting roles across numerous Malayalam films during the latter part of the 2000s.

Starting from 2010 onwards, Joju George started appearing in more prominent supporting roles in movies such as Action Hero Biju, Take Off, Trivandrum Lodge and others. In the year 2015, he expanded his career horizons by venturing into film production, funding projects like Charlie that went on to win multiple Kerala State Film Awards. Additionally, he established his own production company named Appu Pathu Pappu Productions.

In their private life, the actor got married to Abba back in 2008. They are parents to three lovely kids – two boys and a girl.
