As a die-hard Potterhead who has grown up with the magical world of Hogwarts, I must say I am beyond excited about the new Harry Potter series on HBO! The open casting call for young talents to play our beloved trio is just another piece of magic that has me enchanted.

For several months now, everyone’s been buzzing about the upcoming HBO series based on Harry Potter. Notably, even actors from the initial film franchise have shared their thoughts on this new television adaptation.

Presently, HBO is actively seeking fresh acting talents who will portray the legendary trio, namely Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Casting Call Until April 2025

Yesterday’s announcement is specifically targeting children residing in both the UK and Ireland. This could potentially mark the beginning of filming for the upcoming series, as the suitable candidates must be aged between 9 and 11 by April 2025.
