As a seasoned Inkling veteran, I’ve eagerly awaited the return of the Grand Festival Splatfest since its inception in the original Splatoon. The thrill of competing against fellow players while expressing my personal preference for Past, Present, or Future is an experience that never fails to excite me!
The grand Splatfest celebration is now here in Splatoon 3! During this significant occasion, players will be asked to pick what matters most to them: Past, Present, or Future. With an abundance of prizes up for grabs, don’t forget to join the fun when the Splatfest event commences and stay till it concludes.
Grand Festival Splatfest start & end time
The Grand Festival Splatfest kicks off at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time / 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, September 12, 2024, and runs until the same time on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Over these three days, you’re invited to join in, support your chosen idol, and have a blast!
How to play the Grand Festival Splatfest
To start with your Grand Festival Splatfest adventure, you should pick your team first. This time around, the festival wants to know what matters most to you: Past, Present, or Future. Once you’ve booted up the game, make your way to the t-shirt stand in town and select your preference.
After selecting your team, you’ll receive a shirt that belongs to you during the entirety of the event. This shirt accumulates skills over time and is inexpensive to reset, making it an effective method for gathering essential resources known as chunks. Keep in mind that once the event concludes, you’ll lose the shirt, so remember to reset it before it disappears.
As a gamer, when it comes to Splatfest, I’m ready to face off against multiple squads in the usual game mode I’ve grown accustomed to. But here’s the twist – there are times when all teams clash simultaneously in a single game mode, creating an intense three-way battle!
During the Grand Festival Splatfest game, you’ll increase your collection catalog, a metric we use to award points at the finale. To ensure victory for your team, it’s essential to play frequently and strive for wins!
Splatfest rewards
Participating and engaging in the Grand Festival Splatfest will reward you with Super Sea Snails. The more you participate, the more you’ll amass before the event concludes on Sunday. Since these are scarce resources, make sure to do your best to gather as many as you can.
From what we’ve seen in the preview, it looks like the Grand Festival Splatfest in Splatoon 3 is going to be a huge spectacle!
