Recent guests added to The Gathering 2024

As a seasoned Outlander fan with a heart full of Fraser love and a closet brimming with tartan-adorned treasures, I can hardly contain my excitement for The Gathering 2024! Sasnak City never disappoints, and this time around, they’ve outdone themselves. Annette Badland, Nell Hudson, Steven Cree, Charles Vandervaart, and Tim Downie are just a few of the talented souls gracing us with their presence.

Another Sasnak City event is just around the corner. Off the back of another The Kingdom event, we’re heading into The Gathering. This one is all about Outlander.

As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that some remarkable individuals have already confirmed their attendance. The excitement intensifies as we inch closer to the event, with even more exceptional personalities joining the lineup. I eagerly anticipate meeting some for the first time and reconnecting with others whom I had the pleasure of encountering before.

It was previously announced that Lauren Lyle, John Bell, and Joey Phillips would attend the event. However, we now have even more exciting news: additional cast members from both past and present seasons of Outlander will be joining us in November!

Annette Badland, Nell Hudson, and more

If you’re a fan of Mrs. Fitz, you’ll undoubtedly be thrilled to learn that Annette Badland has officially joined the event. She’s an actress we all admire, whether it’s her work in Doctor Who, Ted Lasso, or any other project she takes on.

There’s a possibility that we might have an exceptional group photoshoot, possibly with three people. Nell Hudson will be present at the event, portraying Laoghaire – a villainous character from the series who is Mrs. Fitz’s granddaughter. Since Lauren Lyle will be there as Marsali, we’re looking forward to capturing a family-style photograph with them!

Not only that, but Izzy Meikle-Small, portraying Rachel Hunter, will return to the event! With Joey Phillips and John Bell joining in, there are exciting opportunities for group and pair photos! Their dynamic during the 2023 convention was fantastic, so it’s wonderful to have them back together this time around.

Wait! There’s more!

Steven Cree will return to Sasnak City for another event, which means we’re looking forward to seeing a father-son act. This is particularly moving since The Gathering 2024 takes place just a week before the premiere of Outlander Season 7B, and it’s been confirmed that Cree’s character, Ian Murray, will appear in some of the early episodes of the season.

Additionally, Charles Vandervaart is returning for another round. We’re excited to reconnect with William and deepen our relationship with him.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled about the latest update – Tim Downie, who breathes life into Governor Tyron, is back! It’s been a while since we’ve seen him at an event, but I can hardly wait to hear more of his amusing tales and catch up on what he’s been up to since his departure from Outlander.

We now have nine people attending. It’s not very likely that we’ll have any more, unless someone else can’t make it because of their filming obligations.
