Despite Mr. Bachchan’s box office failure, Ravi Teja and director Harish Shankar chose to return a part of their remuneration to the producers, demonstrating that they stand by their work and are willing to help in times of need.

This year on Independence Day, August 15th, Mr. Bachchan’s film featuring Ravi Teja premiered in cinemas. Regrettably, it didn’t meet its projected success and underperformed at the box office amidst fierce competition from other productions. Consequently, both Ravi Teja and director Harish Shankar opted to give back some of their earnings to the filmmakers as a means to offset the losses they had incurred.

For those not familiar with the situation, Mr. Bachchan faced off against Raghu Thatha played by Keerthy Suresh, Demonte Colony 2, and Double iSmart starring Ram Pothineni at the movie box office. Unfortunately, none of these films were successful in theaters, and Mr. Bachchan’s worldwide earnings during its cinema release were reportedly just Rs 14 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Currently, Hindustan Times is sharing news that actors Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar have offered assistance to compensate for the financial shortfall suffered by the film’s makers. It is said that Ravi Teja has returned an amount of 4 crore rupees, while Harish Shankar has given back 2 crore rupees to the producers. Interestingly, neither of them were asked to return their earnings, but they chose to extend a helping hand during the producers’ challenging times.

The film titled “Mr. Bachchan,” starring Ravi Teja, is a Tamil adaptation of the 2018 Hindi movie “Raid.” In this version, Ajay Devgn played the principal role.

Currently, the actor has been dealing with a health issue following an injury sustained on the set of movie RT75. This necessitated a surgical procedure to mend his torn muscle, causing worry among his supporters.

Luckily, Ravi Teja was released from the hospital and took to his social media platform to post an update about his health. In his message, he said, “I’ve been successfully discharged after a successful surgery and I’m feeling well. Thankful for all your heartfelt blessings and support. Looking forward to returning to work on set soon.”

Regarding his professional life, Ravi Teja recently commenced filming for RT75 under the direction of newcomer Bhanu Bhogavarapu. In this upcoming project, Sreeleela will be taking on the primary role, having previously collaborated with him in Dhamaka.
