KAMA Memecoin Soars 10% Following Putin’s Endorsement Of Kamala Harris

As a seasoned researcher with a keen interest in both politics and cryptocurrencies, I find myself at the intersection of two fascinating worlds that have now collided in a rather unexpected way. The recent endorsement of Kamala Harris by Vladimir Putin has sent ripples through the crypto market, particularly the memecoin market, where a Kamala Harris-themed token, KAMA, has seen a significant surge.

A memcoin inspired by Kamala Harris saw a 10% increase following endorsement from Vladimir Putin, the Russian President. On Thursday, he publicly voiced his backing for the Democratic candidate, which sparked increased interest and activity in the PolitiFi token.

Putin Endorses Kamala Harris’ Campaign

With the U.S. elections approaching, both presidential contenders are garnering backing from a range of industry influencers, politicians, and global leaders. Notably, the Republican nominee Donald Trump has earned endorsements from several figures within his sector, as well as pro-crypto ex-candidates like Vivek Ramaswamy and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Currently, the Democratic nominee and U.S Vice President, Kamala Harris, has garnered backing from certain industry leaders and supporters, even though her views on the sector are somewhat ambiguous. Notably, Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his endorsement for Harris’ presidential bid in the upcoming elections.

At the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), Putin expressed his approval of the U.S. Vice President after Biden’s withdrawal from the rally race. Previously, the Russian president had voiced his support for Joe Biden’s re-election, labeling him as his preferred candidate.

According to reports from Sputnik, Putin indicated his intention to align with Biden’s advice and endorse the Democratic nominee.

Previously, I mentioned that Joe Biden was our preferred candidate, but unfortunately, he’s no longer active in the election race. In light of this, we will be backing Kamala Harris instead…

Beyond this, it’s worth noting that the Russian president expressed great interest in the US Vice President’s chuckle, a thing that has also garnered widespread attention online and sparked a collection of memes using her voice recordings. In essence, the Russian head of state said, “Her laugh is simply captivating. It implies that everything is going well.”

KAMA Memecoin Jumps 16%

On Wednesday evening, observing the cryptocurrency market, I noticed a significant increase – more than 15% – in the value of Kamala Horris (KAMA), a memecoin themed around Vice President Kamala Harris. This upsurge appears to have been sparked by rumors circulating about her campaign accepting cryptocurrency donations via Coinbase.

Yesterday, I came across a report by Fortune indicating that Coinbase’s Chief Financial Officer, Alesia Haas, mentioned that a Democratic candidate was utilizing our platform for donation collection in digital assets. Upon further investigation, it appeared that the candidate’s campaign wasn’t directly receiving cryptocurrency as speculated earlier.

According to what a Coinbase representative explained, it appears that the CFO was referring to the Future Forward Political Action Committee (PAC) – a group that supports the Democratic Party’s candidate and is classified as a super PAC.

Initially, the KAMA memecoin led the way among top tokens in the PolitiFi sector, experiencing significant growth. Yet, it soon reversed by 11%. Nevertheless, early Thursday saw KAMA spiking another 10%, attempting to regain the $0.009 level once more.

In my analysis, over the past week, the token’s price has surged by a remarkable 12%. If we extend that to a two-week period, the growth jumps to an impressive 57%. Interestingly, in just the last day, the daily trading activity of this memecoin has swelled by approximately 10.2%, amounting to around $3.2 million in transactions.

As of this writing, KAMA is trading at $0.0089, a 7.5% increase in the past day.
