As a die-hard fan of Tovino Thomas, I am absolutely thrilled about his upcoming film, Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM). His ability to take on triple roles is nothing short of remarkable! The man is a powerhouse of talent, and I can’t wait to see him bring Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan to life.
Actor Tovino Thomas is getting ready for the premiere of his highly anticipated movie titled Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM). This film, directed by Jithin Laal, follows a family of thieves spanning three distinct time periods. In the movie, Tovino assumes the characters of Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan.
In a private chat with TopMob, Tovino Thomas delved deeply into the subject of his movie ARM. Given that “Ajayante Randam Moshanam” means “Ajayan’s Second Robbery,” the interviewer inquired if the film would depict the initial heist as well.
In response to the question, he explained, “During the movie, we’ll note what happens on screen. So, when the first robbery appears, we’ll jot that down too, and when the second robbery is depicted, we’ll do the same.”
In a subsequent conversation, Tovino Thomas discussed potential spin-offs or continuations of the ARM series. He hinted, “The two heists depicted in the film could occur simultaneously, but if the movie is successful, there’ll be ample opportunities for both prequels and sequels.”
Tovino contemplated the difficulties encountered in portraying a triple role in ARM. He remarked, “It’s rewarding, yet tackling triple roles isn’t a simple feat. I don’t believe I can assume any character that comes along, but I always give my best shot. I aim for perfection, though reaching perfection is one thing, and striving for it is another. Nevertheless, I put forth all the effort I can within my capabilities to make it successful.”
He further praised renowned actor Kamal Haasan, known for playing ten roles in a single film such as Dasavathaaram. He expressed, “I aimed to excel during the preparation stage since assuming multiple roles is what distinguished actors like Kamal Haasan have accomplished, portraying three, four, or even ten characters. I recognized this opportunity as significant, and wanted to ensure I was thoroughly prepared and didn’t squander it. I was anxious about my ability to achieve this, so I trained extensively and attended an acting workshop to better comprehend the characters and ensure each one had a unique walk, speech, smile, laugh, gestures, and voice.”
Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas and Krithi Shetty starrer ARM will hit the big screens on September 12.
