Black Ops 6 beta is already being overrun with cheaters

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from the glory days of early console gaming to the modern era of online multiplayer mayhem. The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 beta has been nothing short of exhilarating, offering a tantalizing glimpse into what promises to be an action-packed experience. However, like a spoiled feast, it’s being marred by the unwelcome guests: hackers and cheaters.

At long last, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta has graced us fans, and the excitement is palpable! The gameplay has been an absolute blast so far, with the response being overwhelmingly positive. However, it’s a real shame that some of our fun is being spoiled by a tiny faction of hackers who’ve managed to sneak into the game using wall hacks and aimbots.

In a video posted by @futiveslol on X, there’s a short clip exposing a cheater in Black Ops 6, shortly after the closed beta began. The video displays an impressive 12 kills within 29 seconds, achieved through wall hacks to reveal player locations and an aim bot that quickly aligns the aim onto opponents, while also reducing recoil for precise shots.

It is not surprising that hackers and cheaters are already in Black Ops 6, due to the other games being plagued by cheaters. Still, it is disappointing to see that this is what some players will have to deal with. Activision does periodically ban waves of cheaters. Still, it always seems that they are usually a few steps behind and it never really solves the issue, so I wouldn’t expect users of the beta to suffer the fate of the ban hammer in time.

The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 closed beta is available between August 30th and September 4th for those who have pre-ordered the game or secured a beta key through the likes of Xbox Game Pass and Xfinity. Next weekend, the game will become available to all players as it enters open beta between September 6th and 9th before finally launching on October 25th. So far, the response to Black Ops 6 has been extremely positive, and it feels like Call of Duty is going back to its roots and recapturing that magic of the early Black Ops titles.
