Based on the in-game timer, The Finals Season 4 is set to launch on September 25th. An Embark developer has hinted at the inclusion of their top weapon pick in the upcoming arsenal of weapons and gadgets. Moreover, it seems that a new customization option for classes – facial hair styles – may be under development as well, according to recent leaks from the same developer.
Furthermore, it’s been confirmed that at least four songs from the Original Soundtrack (OST) are included, and Embark Rob hinted that this season might be the best one yet. As we approach the release date, we can expect more updates, spoilers, and hints. Currently, some fans speculate that Rome could serve as the location for Embark’s upcoming playground.
The Finals fans believe Season 4 map could be Rome
In the Discord chat for the finals, a whole discussion thread revolves around guessing where the Season 4 map might be set. So far, there’s no official confirmation, but fans are hypothesizing that we might shift from Kyoto, Japan, to Rome instead.
It’s clear that the second message is meant humorously, not seriously, whereas some fans interpret the first message as suggesting that “WE” refers to the players and predicting a future map in Rome. Given that maps already exist in places like Morocco, this interpretation isn’t entirely implausible.
Beyond the earlier suggestions, many fans are convinced that Rome could be the location due to “clues hinting at Roman elements throughout the quest.” Although Rome is currently seen as the strongest possibility, some fans speculate that the Season 4 map might actually depict Pompeii in Italy.
In this theory, it’s proposed that the standout characteristic of the Season 4 map might involve lava. Some fans suspect that lava could feature in the game, given that Embark has introduced lava-themed skins with update 3.10.0.
In summary, speculation among fans suggests that there may be a clue hidden neither in Rome nor Pompeii, but potentially in Mexico or California instead.
