As a dedicated follower of Indian cinema, I have always admired Ashish Vidyarthi for his versatility and dedication to his craft. But watching him at the Mumbai airport with his wife Rupali Barua was a delight beyond words. Here’s a man, who despite going through a divorce and remarrying later in life, continues to face adversity with grace and humility.
On August 29th, I myself, a die-hard fan, had the sheer joy of witnessing my idol, the illustrious Ashish Vidyarthi, at Mumbai airport! Accompanying him was his beloved wife, Rupali Barua. This delightful duo, freshly married last year, graced the cameras with their radiant smiles. What an unforgettable moment for a fan like me!

Ashish Vidyarthi and Rupali embarked on an extended trip to Nepal, spotted lugging numerous suitcases laden with their personal effects. Their journey is in connection with a unique show by Ashish Vidyarthi scheduled for August 30. The actor from Pape Naa Pranam was effortlessly stylish at the airport, donning a relaxed, checkered shirt and matching it with white trousers. He accessorized his outfit with black shoes and a sling bag.
The highlight has to be the actor carrying his vlogging camera that hints at an exciting food vlog soon. On the other hand, Mrs Vidyarthi looks cute in her regular denim and multicolored full-sleeve top. Rupali kept her short and wavy hair open looking gorgeous. She completed her look with a pair of comfortable crocks and a handbag.
At the airport, Ashish and his wife Rupali were seen by the waiting media. They graciously posed for photos and Ashish even took time to thank the media for their compliments on his food vlogs. After a brief conversation, they gathered their belongings and moved inside the terminal, with Ashish taking charge of the luggage. Indeed, a chivalrous act, isn’t it?
For those not in the know, Ashish was previously married to multi-talented individual known as Piloo (real name Rajoshi), who is also the daughter of veteran actor Shakuntala Barua. Currently, Piloo and Ashish are jointly raising their only child, Arth, following their separation in 2022.
In May 2023, Ashish remarried Rupali Barua after his divorce, and they chose a private ceremony in Kolkata. However, following their wedding, they faced many critical comments online due to Ashish being 57 years old when he married for the second time.
Nonetheless, Ashish and Rupali kept their composure and stood by one another during tough periods. Their tale serves as a testament to the fact that love can conquer any obstacle.
