In Episode: Echoes, Act 3 initiates by introducing Specimen ID: NES007 to Destiny 2. This mission, titled Encore, is where players can acquire the related quest, but some users have mentioned that it mysteriously vanishes from their inventory. It’s essential to complete this quest if you aim to access the enhancements for Choir of One, such as its inherent upgrades and catalysts.
Specimen ID: NES007 quest
In the mission “Encore: Overture,” which falls under the category of Exotic quests, you’ll find the Specimen ID: NES007. This specimen is located on an Exo corpse that needs to be scanned as part of the mission’s progression. After collecting it and completing the mission, there’s a chance that NES007 will vanish from your inventory. If this occurs, continue with “A Rising Chorus: Act 3.” During Step 7, NES007 should reappear in your inventory again.
Begin your journey by resuming the task from Failsafe, then proceed to finish off the subsequent five stages. The initial three tasks will involve overcoming the obstacle posed by Vex and gathering certain Data from Echoes activities.
- Defeat 100 Vex using Solar damage
- Extract Data from Echoes activities and defeat Vex bosses
- Rapidly defeat Vex
- Speak with Failsafe in the H.E.L.M.
- Place the Exo Prototype in the display area
The majority of tasks in NES007 can typically be accomplished within The Orrery Lost Sector located on Nessus, specifically in the Artifact’s Edge region. This area is teeming with Vex, allowing you to progress through each step rather quickly by making one or two rounds.
