The Greatest of All Time: Thalapathy Vijay starrer sci-fi flick to have 4 AM shows in Kerala; distributor reveals

As a die-hard fan of Thalapathy Vijay, I can hardly contain my excitement as the release date for The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT) approaches. Having followed Vijay’s career since his early days, I have witnessed his meteoric rise to become one of Tamil cinema’s most beloved stars. The fact that Kerala distributors are screening the film at 4 AM is a testament to the actor’s popularity in the region, and I can only imagine the frenzy that will ensue!

In a few short days, Thalapathy Vijay’s eagerly awaited science fiction action movie, known as “The GOAT” (or The Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu, will grace our cinema screens. Earlier this month, the filmmakers released its trailer to build anticipation. They have also announced that the movie will be premiering on September 5th.

Without a doubt, excitement among the actor’s fans is growing as the release date approaches. In the most recent news, Sree Gokulam Movies, the Kerala distributors for “The GOAT,” have revealed that they’ve been granted permission to start showing the film in theaters across the state from 4 AM onwards. The distributors shared this information via their social media platforms.

“We’re grateful to @Ags_production for arranging the 4 am screening in Kerala. Don’t forget to catch #Thalapathy @actorvijay’s Darshanam on September 5th!”

It’s well-known that Thalapathy Vijay has a vast fan base in Kerala. In fact, when he visited Thiruvananthapuram earlier this year for The GOAT, his arrival caused such excitement among fans that it almost halted the city. Needless to say, the fans are thrilled about the early morning screenings of the movie in the state.

Additionally, as reported by industry analyst Sreedhar Pillai, the movie is expected to debut at 4 am not only in Kerala, but also in Karnataka and the U.S. Yet, there’s been no formal announcement confirming these reports.

Instead of the first screening in Tamil Nadu being earlier, it’s scheduled for 9:00 AM on September 5th. This decision was made by the State Government following a tragic incident during the 2023 Pongal releases, where a young man lost his life. As a result, they have prohibited early morning shows for both Thalapathy Vijay’s latest film, Leo, and Rajinikanth’s Jailer.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Thalapathy Vijay’s 68th film sees him stepping into a new venture – a first-time collaboration with Venkat Prabhu. This upcoming project is generating buzz as a science-fiction spy action flick, and what makes it even more intriguing is that Vijay will be essaying a dual role in the film, bringing double the excitement for fans like me who can’t wait to witness his magic on the big screen!

To add to this, the movie boasts an impressive ensemble of actors such as Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Mic Mohan, Sneha, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaran, and several others in key roles. The music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Siddhartha Nuni handles the cinematography. Venkat Raajen takes care of the editing as well.

As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the collaboration between our beloved star, Thalapathy Vijay, and H Vinoth for an action-packed thriller, provisionally named Thalapathy69. It’s said that this will be his final film before fully immersing himself into the political arena.
