Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 trailer might actually make you Team Marcello

As a devoted fan who’s been through the highs and lows of this show since its inception, I can say with confidence that Emily in Paris season 4 part 2 is shaping up to be quite the rollercoaster ride! The trailer has me on the edge of my seat, especially with the introduction of two new characters, including the irresistible Marcello.

Watch out, Gabriel! A formidable rival appears to be approaching in the second half of Emily in Paris season 4. On August 26th, Netflix revealed the official trailer for the concluding part of this romantic comedy series’ fourth season, and it promises an exciting continuation given how part 1 ended. Will Emily and Gabriel’s relationship survive? Perhaps not, if Rome has a say in the matter!

In the trailer for season 4 part 2 of “Emily in Paris,” two fresh faces are introduced: Genevieve, Emily’s new American colleague at Agence Grateau, and an incredibly charming Italian man who seems intent on whisking Emily away in Rome. Despite their recent official status as a couple, Emily and Gabriel appear to be heading towards some bumps in the road.

The first part of season 4 for the show titled “Emily in Paris” concluded with Emily and her partner appearing to be in a stable relationship, having resolved their Michelin-star related issues. However, Camille, who is pregnant with Gabriel’s child, seems to be hiding this secret, and based on the trailer for part 2, it appears that she continues to do so, causing tension between Emily and Gabriel. It’s possible that this is all part of Camille’s strategy.

In the preview, Emily’s tranquil skiing getaway with Gabriel appears to take a downturn. The trailer also hints at Gabriel having lunch with Camille and engaging in private conversation with Genevieve at a restaurant. What’s happening, Gabriel? I’m a huge fan of Gabriel myself, but it seems like Emily might benefit from her trip to Rome.

In this scenario, Eugenio Franceschini portrays the captivating character Marcello, a potential client whom Agence Grateau is keen to partner with. The task of securing the account falls upon Emily, who embarks on a journey that leads her to Italy for a vacation in Rome. This trip includes an exciting scooter ride through the city reminiscent of “The Lizzie McGuire Movie.” This glamorous escape serves as a well-deserved respite for Emily following some turbulent months.

As a committed fan of Emily and Gabriel’s relationship, it turns out that the idea of Emily embarking on a rapid-fire romance with Marcello isn’t as frightening as it initially appeared during the first part. It’s only fair for Emily to make decisions based on her own wellbeing, rather than being trapped in Camille’s mess. As Mindy playfully suggests in the trailer, sometimes doing what’s right means exploring new destinations and experiences.

The final five episodes of Season 4 of “Emily in Paris” debut on Netflix this Thursday, September 12. These episodes are expected to clear up all our doubts. Will Emily and Gabriel finally part ways permanently? What transpires between Emily and Marcello? And how will characters respond when Camille’s secret eventually surfaces? Be sure not to miss a moment of what promises to be the most thrilling and revelatory season of “Emily in Paris” yet!
