This man is a legend in Kannada cinema, known for his powerful performances and unique style. His return to Tamil cinema after a decade-long hiatus is an event that has left me breathless with eagerness!
In simpler terms, the famous actor Rajinikanth is presently filming for his upcoming project titled “Coolie,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Notably, the Kannada actor Upendra Rao has been confirmed to be part of the movie’s cast.

Originally appearing in Tamil cinema alongside Vishal in Sathyam back in 2008, this actor is now poised for a comeback to the industry. Earlier, the team behind Coolie revealed a sneak peek of the movie that offers a tantalizing look at what’s to come.
As an utterly captivated admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement over the black-and-white sneak peek we got earlier. It revealed our beloved Superstar slipping into a shadowy world of smuggling, dishing out blows left and right with such panache that it leaves me wondering: who exactly is this enigmatic figure? His unique charisma, evident in every move he makes, only serves to deepen the mystery surrounding him.
Currently, the movie’s production is underway, with both Shruti Haasan and Sathyaraj contributing significant parts to the storyline.
Regarding Upendra’s career, his latest appearance was in the movie “Kabzaa” where he took on the main character. Directed by R Chandru, this film was a high-energy period action production that boasted an impressive cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeepa, Shriya Saran, Sudha, Murali Sharma, Nawab Sah, Suneel Puranik, John Kokken, Dev Gill, and several others in significant roles.
In addition to this, the actor is set to appear in the upcoming film titled UI, an intriguing blend of action and surrealism. Notably, he assumes both the director’s role and the lead character in the movie. Instead, Rajinikanth will soon appear in the movie titled “Vettaiyan,” which is directed by TJ Gnanavel. This cop action film casts the star as an IPS officer, along with other actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and others. The release date for this movie in theaters is scheduled for October 10, 2024.
