As a long-time admirer of Nagarjuna Akkineni’s talent and dedication, I must say that this recent turn of events regarding his ambitious project, the N-Convention Center, has left me somewhat disheartened. It seems that the law has taken an unexpected course in this case, with the demolition taking place against existing stay orders and court cases.
The unexpected destruction took place at Nagarjuna Akkineni’s project, the N-Convention Center in Hyderabad, due to allegations that it was built on a disputed plot of land. Recently, the skilled actor has spoken up regarding this issue and shared his perspective on the matter.
On my social media platform of choice, X (previously known as Twitter), I, Nagarjuna Akkineni, have penned a comprehensive statement regarding the recent events surrounding my ambitious project, the N-Convention Center in Hyderabad. This structure was unfortunately demolished by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring Unit, or HYDRA, as it’s known. I am sharing my thoughts on this matter to keep everyone informed about the progress of this important project.
He claimed that the demolition activity taking place has been unlawful, and it has gone against the existing stay orders and court cases. Moreover, he clarified that the claims of the building being constructed on encroached land is incorrect and is simply misinformation.
As a conscientious lifestyle advisor, I feel compelled to address the unjust destruction of the property associated with the N Convention, an action that defied existing stay orders and court rulings. I am issuing this statement to preserve my integrity and make it abundantly clear that we have adhered strictly to the law.
In my professional opinion, what transpired was quite unexpected – the sudden demolition of the N-Convention Center by the governmental authorities, without providing any prior notification. This act took place even though there were existing court orders that should have prevented such action.
He mentioned, “No notice was issued prior to carrying out the demolition this morning. As a law-abiding citizen, if the Court before which the matter is pending, had decided against me, I would have carried out the demolition myself.”
For those unfamiliar, the N-Convention Center faced criticism and investigation due to allegations that it was built on a 10-acre piece of land previously belonging to the Tummidi Kunta pond, a vital water resource for the city.
Many demonstrations have taken place before, given that some say the site for the convention center was illegally occupied.
On the work front, Nagarjuna Akkineni would next be a part of the movie Kubera, starring Dhanush.
