As a die-hard fan of 90s sitcoms and action movies, I am absolutely thrilled about Peacock’s lineup for August 26-September 1, 2024! With the return of Bel-Air Season 3 on Thursday, I can hardly contain my excitement to see Jabari Banks continue his remarkable portrayal of Will Smith. And let’s not forget about The Fall Guy and its extended cut, directed by the mastermind behind Deadpool 2, David Leitch!
For the week of August 26 to September 1, 2024, Peacock’s lineup of upcoming TV shows and movies will feature “The Fall Guy” and its extended edition, along with two fresh episodes from season 3 of “Bel-Air”.
On Thursday, August 29, you’ll have an opportunity to watch two installments of Bel-Air Season 3. This dramatic series offers a fresh take on the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, where Will Smith played a fictionalized version of himself. In this modern adaptation, Jabari Banks takes on the role originally played by Will Smith. The narrative follows Smith’s character as he experiences a significant shift in his life when he leaves the streets of West Philadelphia for the upscale neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
On August 30th, The Fall Guy, along with its extended version, will be released on Peacock. This action-packed movie is directed by David Leitch, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. The plot revolves around Colt Seavers, a former stuntman who, following an accident that ends his career, embarks on a mission to locate a missing Hollywood star. Simultaneously, he attempts to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno, a newbie director and camerawoman.
Additionally, both the documentary titled “Gary” and the movie “Book Club: The Next Chapter” will be available on Peacock starting this week.
The film “Gary” chronicles Gary Coleman’s journey from obscurity to stardom, his years as a child actor on Diff’rent Strokes, and the tumultuous events leading up to his passing at the age of 42.
In the meantime, Book Club: The Next Chapter is about four close friends embarking on a delightful getaway with their book club in Italy. But what starts as a relaxing vacation quickly transforms into an unexpected journey across the country.
