Star Wars Outlaws leak reveals FPS and graphics modes for console

As a long-time Star Wars enthusiast and seasoned gamer with a soft spot for Ubisoft’s open-world titles, I can hardly contain my excitement for Star Wars Outlaws! The recent leak about the game’s FPS and graphics modes has only added fuel to the fire.

The exciting game, Star Wars Outlaws, is about to be released soon! If you can’t wait, consider purchasing early access. Otherwise, the Standard edition will become available later. Currently, we don’t have any final reviews, but interestingly, a leak has disclosed that Star Wars Outlaws on console will offer both First-Person Shooter (FPS) and graphics modes.

The upcoming Star Wars Outlaws is set to launch on August 30th, with early access starting from August 27th. Ubisoft has unveiled their Season Pass DLC plan for 2024/25, and the complete trophy list for the game can be found online as well. Essentially, it appears to be a classic Ubisoft open-world adventure with a Star Wars twist, promising an enjoyable experience for both Star Wars enthusiasts and fans of Ubisoft’s style.

The game’s settings are stunningly beautiful, promising a visually appealing and smoothly running experience for Star Wars Outlaws on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox.

Based on leaks shared on ResetEra, it appears that reviewers have been given advance copies of Star Wars Outlaws. They will soon share their final thoughts before Ubisoft’s early access launch. According to these leaks, the game seems to offer different graphic modes for consoles.

Beyond what’s already stated, the discussion thread on ResetEra suggests that the “40FPS mode might offer a higher level of detail, including improved shadows.” Additionally, it seems reasonable to assume that “if this game plays similarly to Frontiers of Pandora, Ray Tracing (RT) should be enabled across all performance settings.”

This is fantastic news for console players. Consistent and smooth 60FPS would obviously be lovely, but 40FPS is more than good enough especially with an onus kept on visuals.

If you are planning to play on PC, you will be able to experience Star Wars Outlaws at 60FPS in 4K quality, but you will need a high-end GPU.

We absolutely cannot wait for Star Wars Outlaws to come out. It promises to be everything you’ve ever wanted from a Star Wars game, and you will be able to interact with iconic characters such as Jabba The Hut.
