But fear not, fellow fans! I have scoured the streaming platforms to find five shows that will help fill that void.
After just one season, “My Lady Jane” is no longer streaming on Prime Video, as Amazon has chosen to discontinue the series. Now, fans find themselves in search of another show to satisfy their viewing pleasure.

As it unfolds, the story takes on a more science fiction-like quality. It’s revealed that multiple parallel universes exist, and objects from different realms occasionally appear here. Characters embark on an adventure to understand these realms, with the ultimate goal of finding their desired universe.

The White Queen
If you’re captivated by the historical fiction aspect of “My Lady Jane“, then I recommend you explore “The White Queen“. This series is based on three books by Philippa Gregory and delves into the era of the Wars of the Roses, a true historical event. The narrative focuses on Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort, and Anne Neville, offering an engaging exploration of their lives during that period.
There’s a touch of alternate history in this account. Particularly with regards to one of the Princes in the Tower, this narrative is Gregory’s unique take on the sequence of events.

This show delves into the life of Catherine the Great following her marriage to the Russian Emperor Peter. However, unlike historical fact, it leans more towards a comedic interpretation of events during that period.
The show spanned over three exciting seasons before unexpectedly getting terminated. Despite its sudden ending, the first three seasons offer a captivating watch, and most narrative arcs find resolution within Season 3.

Thomas Brodie-Sanger takes on the role of Jack Hawkins in “The Artful Dodger.” Similar to “My Lady Jane,” this tale is based on a book. It serves as a continuation of “Oliver Twist” and focuses on the character we previously knew, who was portrayed as somewhat dubious and abusive in Oliver Twist.
In the 1850s, Jack resides in Australia. He abandoned his past as a thief and took up the profession of a surgeon. Yet, circumstances compel him to return to the criminal underworld. The narrative offers an intriguing blend of genres, including moments where it breaks the conventional storytelling boundaries.

I’d similarly recommend giving Bridgerton a try, but if you’re new to the series, Queen Charlotte is where your journey should begin. This engaging one-season limited show leaves viewers yearning for more episodes. It delves into the captivating love story between Queen Charlotte and King George III, exploring his madness and Charlotte’s unwavering affection throughout it all.
In “My Lady Jane,” while some parts are enhanced for dramatic effect, the main love story largely follows historical facts. This novel abounds with the romantic flair present in the relationship between Jane and Guildford.
