Crash K-drama to run for season 2, production company confirms

Previously noted, on a Wednesday, the production team unveiled that crime-action comedy K-drama Crash will be continuing with a second part. The show primarily revolves around a traffic crime investigation unit, known as TCI, who are dedicated to combating the rising tide of traffic offenses. Alongside Lee Min-Ki and Kwak Sun-Young, season 1 featured Heo Sung-Tae, Moon-Hee, Lee Ho-Cheol, Baek Hyun-Jin, Oh Eui-Sik, and others.

According to Ten Asia, during a conversation about the second season of the K-drama, writer Oh Soo-Jin mentioned that we can expect not just the development of the relationships within the TCI team, but also the revealing of intriguing backstories for the characters at Namgang Police Station. Furthermore, she hinted that we’ll see a wider variety of traffic crime cases, so keep an eye out for it!

Additionally, director Park Joon-Woo has expressed his thoughts on the show’s renewal. He stated, “We are grateful for the viewer’s support, and we plan to create a long-lasting Korean drama with a seasonal investigation theme that offers various episodes and enhanced car action.” This suggests an exciting new season awaits the audience.
